Mashed Potato Waffles!

Mashed potato waffles are the perfect way to use up the last of your Thanksgiving or Christmas leftovers! The mashed potato waffle is made by simply adding flour, baking powder, and eggs to your mashed potatoes, along with any of your other toppings, and pouring it into your waffle maker! Commonly topped with green onion, bacon, cheese, and chives, this dish is popular in places like Britain, Ireland, and Australia. This waffle is savory, and tastes like potatoes (Obviously).

This waffle has a small crunch on the outside and soft airy inside. Made with a traditional waffle maker and a few ingredients added to mashed potatoes, this is quite simple to make.

The mashed potato waffle may not have a lot of history, but it does have a lot of flavor!
